Oct 20–Nov 3 · Same Day Registration: Eligible voters who missed the October 19 regular registration deadline may conditionally register and vote in person at an authorized county location. Check locations and hours.

Oct 24 · early vote centers: Vote centers began opening in California Voter’s Choice Act counties. More in-person voting opportunities open across California on October 31. Hours and locations vary.

Oct 26 · San Luis Obispo County: The Atascadero satellite Elections Office at 6565 Capistrano Avenue, 2nd Floor, opens for voter services, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4 PM; on Election Day, 7 AM–8 PM. Official SLO County election details.

Oct 27 · plan ahead: California lists October 27 as the recommended date for a replacement mail-ballot application. It is also seven days before Election Day, the Secretary of State’s recommended mailing lead time; it is not an absolute ballot return deadline. If mailing later, a postal employee can provide a manual postmark. An official drop box is another option.

Oct 31 · early in-person voting: Additional locations will be open statewide. Confirm official location and hours with your county before traveling.

Nov 3 · Election Day: Polls are open 7 AM–8 PM. Return ballots in person or to an official drop box by 8 PM. Mailed ballots must be postmarked no later than November 3 and received by November 10.

Nov 25 · signature correction: If your county notifies you of an unsigned or mismatched return envelope, contact the county elections office promptly. California’s statewide signature-correction deadline is 5 PM on November 25.
